we've had three great days of sneak peeks on the bella blvd blog so far. but we still have SO much more to show you. time for day four!
so, we revealed the baby boy collection and we revealed the baby girl collection. but what about the moments that come BEFORE the little boy or girl bundle of joy's arrival? that's where bella's next collection comes in.
we're expecting is a new mini series by bella. kind of like a mini collection. there are three double sided patterned papers, miniatures stickers, chipboard elements, and stamps. the great thing about these products, is that they coordinate perfectly with the baby boy and baby girl collections. so you can pick up a few pieces from the mini series, and mix them with the baby collection of your choice.
i hope you weren't expecting me to scrap photos of myself when i was pregnant. lol! not going to happen. i borrowed this photo from my local photographer friend, krista lund. she took this gorgeous photo of her friend jessica. i would give anything to have looked that amazing when i was pregnant.
the pink and the blue patterned paper have the "i'm pregnant" and "mommy to be" text on one side, and the cute measuring tape on the other side.
jessica was having a baby boy, so i pulled some other papers and stickers from the baby boy collection. i didn't realize it at the time i choose this photo, but it ended up going perfectly with the oranges and greys in the boy collection.
the third paper in the mini series, has they yellow/white clouds on one side, and the cute little stork birds on the other side.
hands down, i think this grey chevron patterned paper is my favorite out of all the new papers from bella. i've never been big on scrapping with greys. but i've been loving it a whole lot more lately. i added the chipboard "expecting" title to the bottom of the page. to help the white letters stand out a bit more, against the grey paper, i added a few strips of the yellow ......... wait, i can't tell you what it is yet. that reveal is coming up tomorrow ;)
this cute chipboard stork originally had a purple wing. that didn't quite tie in with my colors for this layout. so i took a scrap of orange patterned paper, and hand cut a wing to adhere over the purple. i adhered him with pop dots. i have used a TON of pop dots for my CHA projects.
head on over to the bella blvd blog, to see the entire we're expecting collection, piece by piece. and make sure to leave a comment over there for the giveaway, for a chance to win-it-before-you-can-buy-it!

Laura, I'm with you on gray not being a favorite, but you've managed to mix your mystery yellow chevron with the gray chevron very well! It's is a color combo I'm really ga-ga over right now (yellow is my favorite color!) I was just thinking about my pregnancy pics and realized that the styles of clothes and everything else probably wouldn't go with these chic, pretty papers. If I win over at the bbblog I'll have to make something for my friend who's expecting her 4th in July! Have fun with the CHA stuff!

P.S. I'm betting that the maternity clothes weren't this nice when you had your girls. I shudder a little when I look at my shower pictures from 1999!

I am loving all these sneaks, it's all so cute, how lucky you are to be able to work with it all! I had a little chuckle when you said no pregnancy pics of you...same for me, I was a weird shade of green most of the time, pimply and oh so fat..lol...
