I seemed to have lost all control over my time lately. Too much to do, and not enough time. Little nuggets of downtime, but not long enough to actually accomplish anything. Work, work, and more work. Not enough time to relax and play. I havn't really had the time or energy to create anything new the past week, so I thought I would share another one of my CHA layouts for Bella Blvd.
I actually created this for the CHA Summer catalog, and was asked to focus on the Sophisticates alphas. The older lowercase chipboard alphas, the newer uppercase chipboard alphas, and the alpha stickers.
I started by picking out a mix of the chipboard alphas. I used the newer white text, the pink, and the blue. Then I added in some older lowercase green alphas, and yellow and pink alpha stickers. I won't tell you how much time I spend picking out the letters, and mixing up the colors. It's not hard, but I overthink it.
After choosing my alpha colors, I set out to pick my patterned papers. I used my favorite grid patterned paper for the main part of my layout. It gives the nice white background, so that everything else "pops" on the page, but still has a bit of interest with the grid lines. The other papers are from the Birthday Boy collection, the Birthday Girl collection, the Thankful collection, and an older All Inclusive collection (the text paper).
I also used lots of chipboard pieces from the Sophisticates collection. The sun and clouds, a trio of trees, and some border pieces. See that orange tree? The tree trunk wasn't very tall, but I wanted it to be the tallest tree of the bunch. So I cut off a tree trunk from another tree in the package, and did what I could to make it look like it was all one piece.
Hopefully, I can come up with something to blog about this week. I have ideas, but not a whole lot of motivation to carry those ideas out. So frustrating.

Beautiful layout and I hope your motivation comes back to you soon. I find that when there are so many things to do that I lose my motivation as well.
