remember when i told you a few weeks ago that i would share my book i had done at shutterfly? well ... i'm finally ready. i tell you ... when i say i'll do something ... i do it. it may not be until a few weeks later ... but eventually i get to it. lol!
so this is a 12x12 book ... 20 pages long. i have a single photo on the front ... the only photo i had that had the majority of the kids in it. once i got the idea for what i wanted to do ... it came together very quickly. i used the same page design for each of the daycare kids ... simple background and just included their name on one side. did the rough black edges around all the photos. i had 8 kids ... but had to combine matthew and nickolas together. mainly because they were'nt here as long last year so i didn't have as many pics ... but now that i think about it i could have just had 2 pages added to give them their own pages. then i had 4 pages at the end of the book that just had random photos of everyone.
one of the reasons i ended up loving this book ... is that it just summed up our year perfectly. i have tons of photos of all the kids here. in fact, there were a few more kids i wanted to include ... but these 8 were our main kids. and a lot of those photos i have scrapped on numerous layouts. and i have all the others in the simple albums. and there are tons of fun pictures that i just honestly wouldn't scrap ... terrible to say ... but the more everyday, crazy shots are ones that i wouldn't usually pull out to scrap. so i love that this book has all those in there ... all together in one place. so fun to look through!
and this cutie here ... she gave me heck today! lol! not exactly sure what "heck" is ... but i'm pretty sure that's what she was dishin out to me! really clingy and demanding ... kept getting mad when i put her down to take care of nikolas. and then when the fedex dude stopped by (which was all good since he was bring me a goodie box with some returned layouts) ... she flipped out. i don't know if she thought i was leaving ... i simply went on the porch to get the box. lol! took about 10 minute to calm her back down. but then she looks at me with those eyes ... and i can't stay frustrated for long. cuteness can definately get you places with me! lol!
What a GREAT album! Love that you had each kid holding their own page! Too cute!! I would give in to those eyes too---puppy dog eyes!

Oh my gosh - that came out AWESOME. What a great idea for doing a child on each page --- and I love the idea that you got them to hold the book with the pictures of them showing.

The album looks great, all the kids must have felt so proud holding out their page for you to photograph :)
I had a smaller photobook done through Costco at Christmas and it turned out great and will definitly do one again just maybe a little bigger!

Oh my goodness, I love this. It looks like a professional coffee table book for a children's photograph book ( actually it is ). Sold, I am going to put my Hawaii vacation pictures in a book now instead of a scrapbook.

that book is way cool! Love the layout of the pages. Is the quality good? I have ordered from a few other companies and I it's hard to know quality vs. price, kwim??
I can't believe all that you are able to accomplish on top of taking good care of all those kids!
