i did these 2 layouts about a month ago. i must have been in a primary-color-kind-of-mood!
exactly how cute did this one turn out? and no, i'm not full of myself ... i just love this layout! lol! and you have to promise me to fully appreciate it ... because i don't even want to tell you just how long that photo collage took me to make! i have not mastered the easy way to crop a photo into a perfect square in photoshop (if in fact there IS an easy way) ... so that was part of it. then i had to actually dig through files from the past 2 1/2 years to find the photos i wanted to use. the girls looked at this and would tell me "you forgot so-and-so" and "what about so-and-so" ... but i couldn't include the kids that were before my digital days, you know. the pattern papers, stickers, labeles, and die-cuts on here are all from the creative cafe collection from creative imaginations.
and i loved these photos of the girls with the cute knit hats my friend shirley made ... and they went so good with these fun clear flowers from making memories. i actually did this for a call ... they were looking for pages about "favorites" and i thought it would be fun to list some of their favorite things right now. although i had them fill out my questions ... and then they got upset that some of their answers were the same ... and then there was some accusations of "copying" ... and then we had a big talk ... and then some answers were changed so as not to have any "copying" of too many answers. lol!
off to start cooking my dishes for the super bowl party. i could really care less about the game ... so "un-american" of me. i don't even know who's playing. but my brother has a party every year ... since he's got the big, huge screen in the theater room ... apparently good for watching an important game on. lol! i'm making some sort of "chimichanga" (or something like that, i'm too lazy too look it up right now) chicken dippers ... and some "chili-dog nachos". have a great day!
nice layouts and have fun at the big game LOL. You know me I will be watching the big game and yes a nice big screen to watch it on should be mandatory. Take Care

I love that collage- do you do that in Photoshop or PSE? I have PSE 6 now- I wonder if that will work?

Great LO's Laura! I can totally understand how hard that was to make that collage. I've done LO's like that where I had to look up tons of pics (like the children's first year).
Love the MM flowers!

Love the layouts and love the idea of doing "what they like" right now layout. It will be fun to look back on in years to come.

I can appreciate all the hard work you put into that collage....only cause I have no idea how to do that & wish I did!! Both LO's are FANTASTIC (as usual). Had to laugh at the girls accusing each other of "copying answers". That's sounds like me & my sisters when we were younger! LOL!!!
Hope your Superbowl party was fun!

cute layouts! I saw Trace at Pak n Sav last week. He actually bumped into me when I was walking past. I said hello and smiled. He's gettin' big.

Hope your party was fun! Mine went great. Scrapping with the gals was much better than watching the game. :) Your layouts turned out so cute.

WOW WOW WOW I just adore your first layout here Laura ... gorgeous colours (you do primary colours so well) and the design is fantastic, worth all of that time putting together that collage for sure as it's so striking. I love how you've used the scalloped Bazzill too ... I often struggle with that shape, but what you've done with it looks great. :)

Love these layouts - I could never use those colours so well. Love how you've used the scalloped card and embellishments, especially the flowers and buttons.
