i was noticing that i havn't shown photos of haley and nikolas for a while now. in fact, when i went to load these photos onto my laptop ... i didn't even have a "february" folder for them. which means i havn't taken a single photo of them since january. how rude of me. lol! these were all taken this morning ... in about a half hour.
haley and "katie" the doggie. apparently, she forgot all about "happy" the doggie for today ... it's all about katie.
nikolas just got a haircut ... so cute with the buzzed head.
this basket DID have blocks in it ... but those all got dumped out on the floor. because it's really not a basket, right? it's a hiding spot.
"haley? whr r u?" says nikolas. if only you could hear him talk ... it's the cutest thing.
there she is!
and yes, he still makes these faces at me when i ask him to give me a big smile.
haley said she had to go potty ... so i started to put my camera down. until she told me that "i'm going to read my newspaper on the potty" ... which was so funny that i had to bring my camera with me. and her "newspaper? it's really just a page i tore out of a magazine i was looking at ... it had butterflies on it.
yep, the girlie is potty trained now. didn't take all that long once she was ready. i think she had all of 3 little accidents when she started (with me anyways). and she's been good ever since. although some days, we sit here forever ... waiting and waiting for her to finish.
and nikolas just waits and waits too. usually, he's on the other side of the gate ... but occasionally i bring him over to join us. and he unravels the toilet paper when i'm not looking. and plays with the little springy doorstopper thing ... which haley then says "scares me". good times.
and since the camera was in the bathroom with us ... and we had nothing better to do than kill time waiting ... why not take a group shot. fantastic shot, right? super blurry and orangey on my side ... typical flash glare on haley's side ... lovely!
and our other group shot from the morning. ignore the orangey, oak furniture all over ... i detest it. this is us. i'm sitting on the couch trying to take some pics. but nikolas is hanging all over me and getting in my way. those pink, fuzzy things are my slippered feet ... and he's hanging off my legs. i thought it was kind of funny!
that should about make up for my lack of photos of them ... at least for the month of february!
My favorite is actually the last one with your fuzzy feet...this is SO US! I usually have my camera next to me or on my lap with some type of photography book. I constantly pick up my camera and try something out...no composition, not real thought other than looking at lighting, and my feet are always in the picture with my son hanging on me...it cracks me up!

Nice feet! Gotta love that she is reading on the potty...how old is Haley? Wish I could get my 2 yr old to sit on the toilet...not having it. And that Nikolas makes the cutest scrunched up face!

I've scrolled through these photos several times smiling wider and laughing harder each time! These kiddos are adorable. Makes me wish I had little ones again. Ok, not really. But it would be fun to have them for the day and then send them home at night...lol! Looks like you guys have so much fun!

My daughter has that dog. My mom gave it to her for Valentine's Day so she calls him "Valentine Dog." She's so creative I tell you.
Great photos.
