had a few cards on the jillibean soup blog today. btw, make sure you visit the blog each day this week. they're doing some giveaways that you might want to try for ;) i think the cards i usually do each month, are a huge reflection of what my layouts for each month look like. lol! the product is out, so i knock them out together.
which means this "hi" card is a preview of a layout coming up next week. a double pager that i just love. just love these colors lately. red, blue, green, and brown. and i won't even tell you how long i spent deciding the perfect placement of those squares. so that i didn't have the same colors or patterns next to each other, and that there were equal amounts of each. of course, then i decided to toss that journaling sprout in the center of the card with my sentiment. which totally covered the middle square that was giving me the most trouble. lol!
supplies:
light blue sugar soup staples paper by jillibean soup
olive sugar soup staples paper by jillibean soup
vegetable juice alphabet soup paper by jillibean soup
mixed vegetables alphabet soup paper by jillibean soup
red/black ribbon by jillibean soup
white/brown square journaling sprouts by jillibean soup
corrugated kraft alphabets by jillibean soup
this was inspired by the layout i shared the other day. when it came time to pick a sentiment, i got smart and used "happy birthday". would be cute for a friend, or your mom or grandma. i never have birthday cards, never. i have to learn to start making more.

Love the color you used on these cards. JBS has so cool colors and styles! The ribbon you used, is one of my favorites.
So soft and easy on the post office too.
Again, great cards thanks for sharing.
