so, the rumor going around is that it's christmas time. here it is the 10th of december, and i've barely thought about christmas yet. the one thing i had done right away, was my christmas cards. although that was accidental. i was at costco, picking up some photos. and they mentioned that if i ordered my photo cards by the next day, i'd get $5 off. it wasn't even something i had been planning on, but the $5 made me do it. lol! just happen to have a decent family photo from thanksgiving, and used that for our card. easy peasy. although, back in the day, i would have actually made my own cards.
this card is actually in the december issue of cards magazine. pretty simple card using the mistletoe collection from making memories. if i'm making cards to mail out, i keep the embellishing to a minimum. i've learned to keep them pretty flat, since the postage can get crazy if your card is too bulky. lol
pretty,pretty,JUST pretty!

I just bought the Cards magazine the other day and saw your card in there. I love it! Just got the Mistletoe Slice card too and can't wait to use it for some Christmas cards!

what a great card! something about the twine that makes me happy with the trees... :) So would you put additional postage on this one? Seems like it depends on the post office- I was scolded for a button at one, but I receive cards with buttons and regular postage. hmm.
if it makes you feel better- I'm kinda in denial about how close Christmas is too! :)

Cute card! Did you use the Slice, or are those MM die cut trees from Mistletoe?
Do you still have the on line SB Trends? I do, and I like it-way cheaper than the hard copies!

Hi Laura
I have just purchased a slice machine. Could you please advise me on the best cartridge to buy first as I only have the slice.
Thank-you for your help. Pamela

I love to make cards and play with paper, but I decided a few years ago that I was driving myself crazy. Since then I have sent out store bought cards (I know, should I be admitting that???) It keeps my holidays a bit more sane.
