I remember when you first learned this technique and quickly shared it with me also and I have to totally agree it is fast and easy and I don't remember how I did it before. I have done it in both Elements 7 and CS3 and it works like a charm. Thanks for sharing this with your readers I know it will really help some out. Your the best!

I love these collages Laura and thank you for that itty bitty tidbit that can make a huge difference in our cropping! I can't wait to make one...you could use this for a wall hanging or a layout. thanks :)

Love this LO! Thanks for the tip on cropping too!

Thanks for the PSE tips - only just got it & it's all gobbledegook to me so any tips are much appreciated. I use Picasa, which I know like the back of my hand, but it's collages are more restrictive. You did a layout between Christmas & New Year which is more than most of us so you're actually ahead this year! Happy New Year ;-D

Laura, the layout is great. Glad you added photos of you and Joe too! Thanks for sharing the cropping tips, If Iget hooked up to crop and print at home this year(a goal) I'll try and remember it.

Mary Lynn

the layout is so neat. What program do you use to create the picture of Joe?
I like how you did all of the collages.

Fantastic LO, and a great idea, love it.

GENIUS tip on PS Elements! I can't believe I didn't think to look for the little length/width for exact cropping. Thanks!

Your collages are fantastic! I just kinda discovered your blog and I already love it. All the photoshop tips you give are fantastic. I am going to have to try that collage trick.

Happy New Year!

I think I am following you as above. Then do you save the copy after cropped. Or do you put it on one page to print at one time in one total layer. Cool design and I agree worth doing again:) I like you did it as a family with you and Joe too.

Happy New Year Laura!! Your layout is very cool, my lift of your lift of '08 is still one of my faves too, and definitely going to do another one '09!! I think these pages are timeless, and such a great overview of the year!

Just wanted to say, I noticed that you added photos of you and Joe before I got to the part where you mentioned that! And I thought it was a cool addition!

Hi Laura- love the layouts and isn't it nice to to see a recap on one page. Great work! Also, wanted to drop a note to say thank you for ALL the time and energy it takes to post on your Blog. I check it everyday. I love you colors and design.
So thank you. And sorry I haven't commented more- changing that for 2010.
Happy New Year!

Hi Laura,
Wow what a great idea.Going to do one for my grandaugters 1st birthday to show how much she has changed and grown in the year.

Sara Rossi

So cool that you did another version of this! Love it again!! ;) I agree why mess with a good thing? I think it's a great idea!

Great year in review! I miss seeing Sarah's stuff-I love her layouts too!

Tammy Morales

Great layout idea - I usually do this with my Christmas Day photos. Although I usually crop with my Making Memories square punch. Need to try it digitally

Thanks again for all the great posts this year.

rockin lo!! thanks SO much for the cropping tip - definately printing that out for my 'must try some day' pile!

Jamie Harder

FABULOUS layout!! I need to do a page like this!! You are so inspirational! Thanks for the cropping tips:-)

Laura, I have been trying to figure out the photo collage for awhile now. I have Photoshop 7.0 and can use the dimension tool but won't it distort if you don't crop in equivalent dimensions? Such a great look. I want to figure it out. Thanks for any info.

HI Laura & Happy New Year! I love your photo collage and was hoping you could explain how you do these or possibly where I can find directions on how to do this. I. MUST. DO. ONE. LOL ...no really! :D What a fab thing to learn! THANKS for always sharing your talent with us! take care! Cindy

Nancy L.

great tip, thanks!

I remember that layout from 2008 and love your layout for 2009. I know that I've asked you before, but what kind of printer do you use and what kind of paper do you use with it? Your pictures always come out so clear and when I print at home they sometimes seem to be very grainy.
