i'm in a funk. a rut. whatever you want to call it, i'm in it.
and this isn't good. because it has put a halt on my creative juices. not great timing, since i have a ton of projects that i should be working on right now.
it's also kept me from blogging. as in, i've had no desire to blog and nothing to blog about. i even spent half an hour tonight, trying to find even just a single photo to share. i came up empty handed.
so i'm going with something totally unrelated to anything. just a song that has been stuck in my head for the last week. heard this on last week's episode of hellcats, and i now play it on my ipod all the time.
Hey girl, Hate to hear you're in a rut! We miss ya out in blog land, but you'll find your way back. This too shall pass and we know you'll be kickin' boo-tay and taking names again very soon! The stinkin' internet knows I'm in Taiwan, so I can't watch the video, but it looks fun. I now HAVE to check out this show!!!

Don't sweat it, we all have those Funks. Sounds like it is time to take a break. No worries, take care of yourself and everything else will take care of itself. Do something fun today something you have been wanting to do and get your mind rested and recharged! We understand, we all have those times - Sometimes shopping helps! lol

sorry to hear you're in a slump. it's so frustrating to have those times, i know. I hope that you get a chance to rest and relax (like the other comments said, too) and after a few days, you'll be overflowing with inspiration.
thanks for the song, it was fun, and a good way for me to start my morning!

we all go that that, and when I do I pull out my Laura Vegas page book (a little photo booklet I made with all her pages and designs), it ALWAYS gives me inspiration when I hit a wall or slump...maybe you have heard of her...(hee, hee...)
seriously though, go thru your OWN work, that's gotta give you inspiration!!!!

awww, sorry girl that you're in a rut! Maybe your mind is just taking a mental break, which we all need sometimes.

Oh no!! I hate rut's!!! I really hope you get out of it soon. I will miss you posts if they stop for too long! Maybe do some blog hopping? That always helps me :o) Isn't Hellcats awesome. I just downloaded the first 6 episodes and watched 3 on Wednesday night and the other 3 last night. Its not on over here and I stumbled across it and knew I would love it :o)

I know how you feel, Laura! I feel like all I do is work and take care of kids- my own and 32 others that aren't mine! Then, when I am home, it is all about cooking, cleaning...not the "fun" life I dreamed I would have when I was a kid! Here's to hoping we work through the run and move on to more fun! Take care, Laura!

Hope you get back into your creative groove soon!

So sorry you're feeling funky. I know how that goes. It can be so hard, especially when those projects are calling your name. Hope you find your way out of your slump soon. In the meantime, take some time for yourself. Don't hesitate to do something mindless to pass the time. For me, it was X Files. Hours and hours of it. Nerdy, I know, but I came out ready to play again. :)
And thanks so much for your nice notes on my blog. You're a kind soul and I'm glad I know you.

Sorry to hear about you being in a funk. I have been that way since Sept. 7 because I lost my internet. Plus fighting to get anything done by AT & T. They finally came out yesterday. I have also packed my stuff up because I did not want to work on anything. I am hoping to try to get back in the groove of doing some pages
